roof vents

Adequate roof ventilation is necessary in order for your new roof to function properly.  Roof ventilation allows excess heat to escape from the attic. Many homeowners do not realize the importance of proper adequate ventilation. If you’re ventilation system is not properly installed then you may have condensation building up in your attic. The water droplets will drip down onto your insulation which in return damage your ceiling and other structures that are in the home. The roofing contractor should install GAF Cobra III Ridge vent system. This system provides the most ventilation for the residential structure. This system requires that there be softened ventilation just below the gutters. As air moves across the horizontal Ridge lines, there is a negative inner attic pressure created that pulls the excess heat from the roof structure. This in return keeps the attic space bone dry.
